Official passport holders are exempted from visa for their travels up to 90 days.

Ordinary Passport holder Egyptian nationals require valid Visa to enter Turkey.

What is e-Visa?

An e-Visa is an official document permitting entry into and travel within Turkey.

The e-Visa is an alternative to visas issued at Turkish missions and at the ports of entry.

Applicants obtain their visas electronically after entering required information and making payments by a credit or debit card (Mastercard, Visa or UnionPay).

The link to download your e-Visa is given on the final step where you will be informed that your application has been completed successfully. In addition, the same link to download your e-Visa will be emailed to you. Passport control officers at ports of entry can verify your e-Visa on their system. However, you are advised to keep your e-Visa with you either as a soft copy (tablet PC, smart phone, etc.) or as a hard copy in case of any failure on their system.

As in the case of other visas, respective Turkish officials at the ports of entry reserves the right to deny entry into Turkey to a holder of an e-Visa without any explanation.

You must meet all the requirements listed below in order to obtain an e-Visa. Please confirm that you meet these criteria by clicking the boxes next to them. If you do not meet any of these requirements and you proceed with your application, your e-Visa will be invalid.

Checklist for e-Visa:

I can prove that I hold a return ticket, hotel reservation and at least 50 $ per each day of my stay.

I am travelling for the purposes of tourism or business.

I have a round-trip ticket with Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines, Onur Air or Egypt Air.

I hold a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date I intend to enter Turkey.

I am below 20 or over 45 years old; or I have a valid Supporting Document (Valid visa OR valid residence permit from one of the Schengen Countries, USA, UK or Ireland). E-visas are not accepted as supporting documents.

I confirm that I meet each and every one of the conditions listed above.

Regular (Sticker) Visa Applications (If you are not eligible for e-Visa):

As ofJanuary 5, 2016, a new online Turkishvisaapplication system for all nationalities will be in effect. The new system requires allvisarequests to be carried out via an official front-end web site: www.visa.gov.tr which is designed to facilitate a better user experience. The applicants will be able to check all the criteria for their intended type ofvisaand upload the necessary forms during the online application process.

In this framework, the general visa application requirements are as follows:

1- The validity of the passport should not be less than 6 months upon application.

2- Recent bank statement covering the last 6 months.

3- Personal Photo 4x6 (white background).

4- A copy of the passport. Please also bring your original passport for the application.

5- Commercial registration oran HR letter from the employer stating the income.

7- The complete visa application form.

8- Hotel and flight reservation

9- Health insurance covering duration of stay in Turkey

10- The single entry visa fee is 470 Egyptian Pounds and the multiple entry visa fee is 1570 Egyptian Pounds.

11- The consular section has the right to add any further conditions according to the personal interview.
